Colourful Julia Galvin from Listowel has been lined-up as the MC for the fun-filled Highland Games which will take place in Tralee during the festival.
And she is adamant that she can give debut presenter Ryan a great run for his money.
Julia s first task will be getting to know the difference between the ammer throwers and the Roses as she sets her goggles on the spurns to host the games.
The games are a new addition to the popular festival and will include such exciting challenges as caber-tossing, stone and hammer throwing and shot putt.
Competitors from Scotland are due to challenge the Irish on Saturday next.
Julia, in fact, will be on a very tight schedule as she is due to take part in the world bog snorkelling championships the same weekend.
