Gardaí appeal for help over ‘mystery woman’

IF CHIHUAHUAS could only talk it would make the lot of Dublin gardaí at Store Street that much happier.

Last night, they appealed for any help that might help them to identify a very glamorous woman who turned up on their doorstep last weekend apparently suffering from memory loss.

The woman, who arrived at 9am on Sunday, is not aware of who she is nor of any personal details about herself.

She is not in possession of any identification apart from the chihuahua dog, which she was carrying at the time.

Described by gardaí as being in her mid-30s, 5ft 10in tall, of slim build and with brown, collar-length hair, she has hazel eyes and speaks with an American/Canadian accent.

She is also able to speak French.

The mystery woman has three distinctive tattoos on her body.

Two are of Arabic-style writing on her left upper arm and the back of her neck.

The third is a Celtic-style design on the back of one of her legs.

When she appeared at Store Street Garda Station, she was wearing a black skirt and top with a black trench coat, leopard-skin shoes and a multi-coloured head scarf.

Gardaí believe she may be suffering from severe amnesia.

The woman is being cared for in a Dublin hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Store Street station on 01-6668000.
